The Role

We currently have a vacancy within our Teaching and Learning Support Team at our Avery Hill Campus.

Our team plays a vital role in delivering high-quality administrative support for a wide range of teaching and learning activities. We work closely with programme and portfolio leads to ensure a smooth and efficient service for both staff and students.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to student and staff queries
  • Planning and supporting induction activities
  • Processing grades and facilitating exams and award boards
  • Maintaining accurate records, systems, and reports
  • Providing a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience through reception

Your profile    

We are looking for someone with proven administrative experience, preferably in a large and complex organisation - ideally within higher education. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills.  You can quickly build strong and positive working relationships with administrative and academic colleagues.  You have excellent organisational skills and can plan and prioritise a busy schedule of work in order to achieve objectives.  You will have strong IT skills and enjoy multi-tasking. Comfortable with rapid change, you are happy to be part of a close-knit team with shared objectives. Your track record includes experience of multi-tasking and prioritising work to meet deadlines and experience of working in a busy and professional office. Great problem solving and decision-making skills are crucial alongside accuracy and an eye for detail.
